More than 20 firearms seized from drug houses in Suffolk County

Suffolk County Police Commissioner Timothy D. Sini today November 17, 2016 will announce the results of eleven recent search warrants executed in the past two weeks targeting drug dealers.  In a continued effort to crack down on drug houses in our community, the Department is executing warrants and seizing drugs, cash and illegal guns at an unprecedented level.

In November alone, the Suffolk County Police Department seized more than 20 firearms, including a sawed-off shotgun, an UZI and assault rifles through search warrants in drug houses. As we close out 2016, an additional 26 people have been arrested in connection to drug-related crimes in Suffolk County as a result of these search warrants.  Felony amounts of narcotics and $10,000 in drug money have been seized.
